Responsibilities
- Read and interpret specifications to select the type of insulation required.
- Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
- Measure and cut insulating materials using hand and power tools.
- Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
- Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
- Remove asbestos or urea-formaldehyde insulation from buildings.

Hourly Pay
Salary Range: $41.17 – $42.83/hr (based on 2023 collective agreement Journeyperson hourly rate)
